As much as I lust over a weekender bag, a cross-body bag will forever be my go to for day-to-day activities and I can’t get enough of them. In all colors and materials—from studs, faux-leather, neon—there are seemingly endless options for cross-body bags. Even celebrities like Jessica Alba and Anne Hathaway rock cross-body bags on the streets, making them even more of a must do accessory and staple this summer.
Although black is notoriously known as being the warmest color and sometimes avoided during the scorching months of summer, this Fashionista rocked black in the peak of the heat in the form of a Jessica Simpson cross-body bag.
Take note, this bag is ideal. Nobody likes stuffing necessities such as an iPhone, money and car keys into black holes I like to call pockets. As a result of this Fashionista’s bag, she was able to be on- the- go hands free and looking mighty fashionable.
The leather-like material of the bag adds a bit of dimension to her outfit and its medium size is perfect for essentials and spacious enough to store an iPad mini, Kindle or a September issue of this Fashionista’s magazine of choice.
It completes her outfit, and its color makes it an incredibly versatile bag. It can be adorned across the body during the day running errands and at night with going out essentials. Everybody loves a two-in-one bag!
Altogether, cross-body bags are a necessary accessory for any stylish gal this summer. If you have yet to purchase one, do not fret- they are available to purchase on practically every corner, from Target to Forever 21 to Bloomingdale’s.
