Winter break is winding down and the start of second semester is just beaming around the corner. Before packing up and heading back to college life, we are lucky to witness some of the most beautiful winter days here in the city of brotherly love! Philadelphia is known for its diverse group of people with an even more eclectic sense of style. As I went roaming around the historical city streets, I could not help but admire a modern yet afro-punk Fashionista.
Winter is known for its dark and gloomy color schemes; however, it never hurts to add in a splash of color! Celebrating the sunny winter day, this Fashionista decides to stick to her dark solids while accessorizing with hints of color and denim. This Fashionista was spotted wearing an all-black ensemble with a pair of black creepers, denim jacket and an orange hat to top it all off. One can never go wrong with making an all-black statement, but it is this Fashionista’s accessories that do all of the talking!
The patterned denim jacket is what ultimately captured my attention. The collection of pins displayed on the left side is a great way to spice up any outerwear. Not too cold to pull off a thinner jacket, but still a little too chilly to remove the winter accessories. The denim jacket and hat is a fabulous collaboration for warmer winter days. This Fashionista did an excellent job with grasping the concept of a bold winter look by adding a touch of color and a great outwear piece that pushes it to a whole other level!
