The biggest struggle during the fall is having to wait for the weather change to wear your favorite new pieces. The awkward in-between summer-fall weather leaves us at a loss for any type of rational decision making when it comes to what to wear. Thankfully, we have those key accessories that stick by our side no matter what the weather.
This Fashionista is from the West Coast where it is always sunny and skies are always clear, but she resides in State College for the time being. With that being said, she definitely knows a thing or two about the necessity of having pieces that are perfect for the West Coast weather and the in-between weather that us East Coasters endure.
This week’s Fashionista was wearing the most beautiful Jeffery Campbell boots that made me immediately notice her sense of style. Season wise, these boots happen to be extremely versatile. She paired them up with daisy dukes and a rock ‘n’ roll T-shirt. Though, they would also be the perfect asset to jeans and a comfortable sweater in the colder months. Her black shorts are from the most classic and traditional jean: Levi Brand Jeans. Whether it’s shorts or pants, Levi’s has not done much wrong in decades.
Another tasteful and timeless piece that this Fashionista accessorized with was her Balenciaga handbag. These handbags are without a doubt seasonly-versitile. Even Christian Dior referred to the Spanish designer, Cristóbal Balenciaga, as “the master of us all.” His reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards has been astonishing the fashion industry since he was nicknamed “the king”—the Molière of dressmakers, the da Vinci of that renaissance of silk and crinolines.
Spotted: Ankle-high boots by Moschino were found on the fall 2013 runways in Milan. They are also the perfect boots to wear any season.
