A handbag can make or break an outfit, and the purse sported by this Fashionista definitely made it. Although I’m not usually a huge Coach fan, this purse caught my eye right away.
The metallic gold straps and trim created a classic look adding to the fun and colorful pattern of the purse. It was a purse that I could see adapting to certain styles and different outfits depending what you put it with, and I’m all about versatile accessories. This Fashionista wore it with bold red jeans, a simple white button-down and a navy cardigan. It was a rather simple outfit, which really made the purse stand out. On other days, however, it could be matched with outfits from any season. I imagine it in the summer with a colorful sundress and gold sandals, and in the fall with similar leather boots the Fashionista is sporting along with some blue jeans and an orange sweater.
There are lots of colors present with the tattersall pattern (pink, greens, navy, orange and brown), but it’s not overbearing and there’s enough white space to keep the look classic and sharp. It’s a preppy bag that should belong in any college student’s closet, even if preppy isn’t your style. With this purse, you don’t need any other accessory; it looks great on its own!
Spotted: An interesting pattern can always spruce up an outfit, whether it’s tattersall, plaid or whatever else is in style this season. The Marc by Marc Jacobs collection is one of my favorites to browse through when needing to be pattern-inspired.
