One of my favorite aspects of fall is being able to layer my outfits. Leggings, sweaters, jackets and scarves are my staples for the fall. Sometimes basic leggings can get boring, especially if worn often. However, printed leggings are a fun way to spice up outfits and make a huge style statement.
Instead of the traditional black legging, this week's Fashionista opted for a pair of black and white printed leggings. She paired them with an oversized denim shirt, an oversized sweater and topped it off with a black infinity scarf. Her layering is comfortable but still looks trendy. Printed leggings are exciting and bold, which make them fun to wear in the cooler months.
While on my search for the perfect pair of printed leggings, the ones that first caught my eye was this colored geometric print legging. The colors are perfect for fall and I like that the print is large. A smaller print on a legging could possibly be not as flattering as a larger print. I’d suggest to pair a longer top with these leggings, like a solid, oversized sweater. Since the leggings are the focal point of the outfit, keeping the shoes simple will work for this outfit. A solid color pair of faux leather or leather flats, booties or wedges will work perfectly.
For a casual printed legging, try this high-waisted legging pair. I love all of the print options available and I would wear these with a Converse, an oversized T-shirt and a faux leather jacket. This outfit is perfect for running errands or early morning classes because it takes little effort to throw together but still looks fashionable.
If you need a little more warmth with your leggings, a printed sweater legging works great. I like the idea of a sweater legging because they're a little thicker than the two previous options. Since the sweater leggings have a cozy feeling to them, a long top and a pair of comfortable fringe boots would look and feel awesome.
Printed leggings can be worn for various occasions whether it's for running errands, running to class or running around on the town. With so much versatility, find your favorite pair and rock them this fall.
