My name is Jonathan and I’m a junior studying at East Carolina University with a major in communications; journalism. One of the most important things to me is self-harmony and I love practicing such in my bedroom. With that being said I feel as though it’s important that my room be both comfortable and functional all while providing an aesthetically pleasing modernesque atmosphere, which of course translates well with my overall style and fashion.
I love dark and simple shades such as black and brown because they’re both neutral enough to give you the freedom you need to express yourself with all sorts of different things. Rather it is selecting a funky rug which could give your room that extra spunk it needs adding character to your personal space. Or even if you want to wear a unique pair of pants or shirt; wearing either black or brown will help make it easier to do so complementing the item. I also prefer to keep my room as simple as I possibly can in hopes of minimizing the amount of clutter that could possible accumulate. A cluttered room is a sign of a cluttered mind. With that being said simple means less and I try to find pieces that offer dual functions. Which is why I majority of the items on my wish list made the cut!
