5 Holiday Footwear Ideas For Those Who Hate (And Can’t Walk In) Heels

To quote Love Actually (aka one of the best holiday movies of all time): “Just because it’s Christmas. And at Christmas, you tell the truth, to me…” heels are the worst. (That’s how it goes, right?)

But seriously, I don’t care what anyone says, heels are not comfortable. Slippers, loafers, a great pair of sneakers—those are comfortable. Five inch stilettos or double platform pumps? Not so much.

Yet as females, we willingly step into these glamorous torture devices and suffer in silence and style through nights out, parties and family gatherings. Enough is enough. There is literally nothing worse than spending an entire holiday party finding a corner to brace yourself while shifting your weight from one foot to the next.

So instead of spending NYE counting down to when you get to take your shoes off instead of start the new year, try on one of these holiday footwear suggestions for size.
